How do I know? Because the White House has announced that it is disabling the mailbox used to collect the tips. Yes, flag@whitehouse.gov is disabled… the “Flag Yourself” campaign won.
Following a furor over how the data would be used, the White House has shut down an electronic tip box — flag@whitehouse.gov — that was set up to receive information on “fishy” claims about President Barack Obama’s health plan.
E-mails to that address now bounce back with the message: “The e-mail address you just sent a message to is no longer in service. We are now accepting your feedback about health insurance reform via http://www.whitehouse.gov/realitycheck.”
Protest and dissent works, people, especially when you’re protesting against something that was wrong to begin with. So if you are inclined to protest against the healthcare plans in Congress, please keep doing so. They are listening. I mean it, they really are. They don’t LIKE it, but they ARE listening.
If we keep up the pressure, it is possible we may win the battle against this government power-grab in the name of “health care reform.”
