PA Will Soon Focus On Local Elections

With the fall elections looming in about two months, I will soon be focusing more closely on local elections. Also, I have been contacted by the Huffington Post, and asked to cover the Martha Roby campaign as a "citizen journalist."

I double-checked, just to make sure they really want a libertarian blogger to cover her campaign, and they said they were fine with who I am. So once they finish recruiting citizen journalists, I'll start posting one or two pieces a week on the Roby campaign.

Should be fun...

And I don't know if you noticed, but I spent an entire day last week covering Bobby Bright...

Have a great day!

  1. You with the Huff-Post? Tell me it ain't so.

Just make sure you don't embarrass us Bama observers with Latin phrases, mention's of Bingo or dry counties, or any reference to NCAA football in your Huff-Post articles. Hopefully, this won't ruin you, and then we hear about you moving to New York City to establish yourself as a fancy writer for Newsweek.

  2. It's not permanent, believe me, and won't alter my view or presentation of the facts. It's what they're calling "citizen journalists", which basically means local bloggers covering local elections. Makes sense, when you stop to think about it.

It's more of a news reporting gig than an opinion spot, so I'll have to back off a bit from expressing opinions. But rest assured this won't "ruin" me... and I'll NEVER move to New York City. Visited there twice... enough for me.

Will your Roby campaign posts be posted here as well as on Huffington Post?

  4. Absolutely. I'll cross-post them here, most definitely.
