I will be doing little, if any, blogging today. It's my birthday. I have the day off, and I intend to do some grilling tonight for dinner. But I'll be back online tomorrow (MAYBE one later tonight) with more of my thoughts and observations.
For the moment, though, I'll be celebrating (???) this day that I turn another year older. I am 36 today.
Well, okay... 41.
(sigh) Well, if you want to be PERFECTLY accurate... 43?
Oh, all right! I turn 45 today! THERE... are you satisfied?

ReplyDeletehave fun, the second half century is when life becomes even more interesting.
The positive side to this is you get one step closer to this fantastic bucket of free cash...called social security, which will be yours. I hate to say it...but after getting to sixteen (the license day), and eighteen (the old-enough-to-buy-beer day)...the next big day after that is 65 (free-cash day). So enjoy your evening, and hopefully you have more than enough chocolate cake.
