Here's the scoop. The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, known by those of us who have to occasionally pause for breath as the DSCC, is asking people to help them decide what slogan will be on the next car magnet that they print and offer for sale. The idea is, of course, to come up with a catchy slogan that Senate Democrats can use to ride to victory in 2012.
Well, that's USUALLY the idea with things like this. I'm not sure what they're REALLY shooting for, because there's not one decent slogan in the entire list they're letting people vote on. Here's the list of slogans.
- We’ve Got Your Back, Barack
- Had Enough Tea? Repeal Republicans in 2012!
- GOP: Not My Cup of Tea
- No Tea For Me, Thanks. I Prefer Progress.
- GOPuleeeeez
Really? Is that the best your most creative minds can come up with? If those are really the only choices the DSCC has for slogans, well... Democrats may not do so well in the Senate in 2012. These really SUCK.
