If you do, then there's something you need to do. First, you must understand that this is an independent movie that is being distributed independently. It's being released to a small number of theaters in a handful of states, and won't be released here in Montgomery (or anywhere else in Alabama, for that matter) unless they perceive a demand for it.
So, let's create that demand! Go to this website and ask for it to be brought to your town. If you live in Montgomery, now is the time to ask for it.

Also, see that list of theaters on the right of that page? Contact your local cinema and ask them to bring it to Montgomery... or wherever you live. You won't get a chance to watch it in the theaters unless we all make it clear that WE WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!

up to 61 for Montgomery
ReplyDeleteWow, really? It was at 19 for Montgomery when I found it. Thanks... that's good to know.
ReplyDeleteYou guys better start preparing to wait for the DVD. This is likely to be the kind of movie that appears at some artsy liberal small 1930s-built college-town cinema for two nights and then moves on.
ReplyDeleteYour best bet for Montgomery is The Capri getting it. It would be a little later, but I would think they might. Best theater in Montgomery anyway. Just call and ask them. Irregardless of political orientation I am not a huge fan of the book, but have been anticipating what it would look like on screen for years. The trailers debut was @ CPAC.
ReplyDeleteMongtomery, AL now up to 151 as of 7:48am on April 5.
