Donald Trump announced today that he will NOT run for President of the United States. Coincidentally, this announcement came on the same day that NBC announced they were renewing his TV show, The Apprentice.

In my opinion, this is good news... the man would have made a TERRIBLE President.

Trump, Huck, and I believe by August you will notice a lack of Palin in Iowa will kinda spell out her lack of participation. There are only going to be three or four front-runners and none of them really have any magnetic pull across the entire country. 2012 is the year for Obama to win...simply for lack of a national Republican candidate that has the ability to win.
ReplyDeleteYou could be right on the GOP field, but I disagree with Obama's chances for victory. More than one candidate polls well against Obama, regardless of how they poll for the GOP nomination. Ron Paul, for example, polls 10%-15% for the primary, bit is within a few points of beating Obama in the general election. So, I think that the right nominee can definitely beat Obama in November.
ReplyDeleteI believe that if Paul won the nomination of the Republican Party and Obama would debate him face to face on national TV, Paul would take Obama behind the woodshed and whip his you-know-what. I further believe that Paul is the only possible candidate who would and could do that.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is that the powers-that-be in the GOP and mainstream media will again work to keep him from getting the nomination.
