NH Exit Poll: Who Could Beat Obama?

This is interesting, but I'm not hearing it talked about very much. Apparently, CNN did some exit polling during the New Hampshire primaries. One of the questions they asked is which candidate is most likely to beat Obama in November. It's a good question, and it produced interesting results.

Oh, so THAT'S why the poll disappeared and hasn't been mentioned since.

  1. It appears that CNN, mainstream media including Fox News, the RINOs who control the Republican Party, Paul's opponents in the GOP presidential campaign, Obama and his supporters, and others, all fear Ron Paul because Paul speaks the truth which none of them speak or want to hear, much less transmit it to others.

  2. The attempted media blackout of Ron Paul is downright scary. When they do mention him they always do so in a negative light. If I could reach through the TV I'd have throttled nearly all the talking heads on the major networks.

  3. I reposted this on my Facebook page and someone sent me a link to the CNN exit polling referenced in your post. It appears that the 88% came from those who identified as Ron Paul supporters. Likewise Jon Huntsman supporters said he was the candidate that could beat Obama at 86% and Romney supporters said Romney was the candidate that could beat Obama but I don't recall the exact number. Here is the link. http://www.cnn.com/election/2012/primaries/epolls/nh

Now, for full disclosure purposes this link was provided by someone that appears to have a personal beef with you and I prefer not to get involved in stuff like that. I'm not taking sides either way but if that poll I posted above is in fact where the numbers came from it should be made clear.

  4. Loretta, I will take a look at this and see what I find. If your friend is correct, I will post a correction as usual.

  5. Loretta, it appears your friend may well be correct. According to the poll details at the link you provided, 88% of Paul supporters say he's most likely to win v Obama, and 86% of Huntsman supporters think similarly about their candidate. Interestingly, only 66% of Romney supporters think he's most likely to win v Obama. Even more interestingly, Ron Paul is the second choice for supporters of every other candidate. VERY interesting, wouldn't you say?
